About Us

We named this place Art Factory because it combines a soulful mix of arts, style and fun in a huge antique mansion of 900 sq. meters in the oldest quartier in Buenos Aires, San Telmo. You can find the antique markets and plenty of bars just 3m walk from the hostel. GardenHouse Art Factory is a hostel crafted by architects, graphic designers, street artists, illustrators and open-minded creative people.
Art Factory has ensuite rooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms and dorms for 8 and 6 people. Every room in the house has been specially decorated for a different artist

How to Find Us

We are located in Piedras 545, just 3m walk to 9 de Julio Avenue and 5m walk to the main square, Plaza de Mayo
You´ll find four differents buses right at the entrance, and two metro lines just 2 blocks away from the hostel.
If you are coming from the airports we can arrenge a pick up for you, just let us know!
If you are coming from the bus terminal, you can take the metro, Line C and get off at Moreno St. When you get there take Belgrano avenue, following the traffic direction. 2 blocks from there you´ll find Piedras st. turn right, walk for 2minutes, and there we are!

Things to Do around Us

Spanish, tango and cooking lessons, get together, bbq´s, secret walks, nights out, are organised here at the hostel.

The nicest restaurants are really close to the hostel. Night clubs, from monday to sunday.
You can book city tours, bike tours, tickets to travel around Argentina, from the hostel.
