How to Find Us

a) From Airport “Ministro Pistarini” (Ezeiza)

Opcion 1: Bus 86 (very cheap)
Out of the central hall of the airport look for the bus stop of the 86 bus. Ask for a ticket to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4100).
Time of the travel: 120 and 150 minutes.
Cost: U$S 055 / $ 1,60 peso argentine (August 2008). You must use coins, the bus don’t accept bills or another way of payment.

Opción 2 “Manuel Tienda León” y Bus or taxi (not so cheap nor expensive)
Out of the central hall of the airport you can go to the stand of “Manuel Tienda León”. Contract a transport to the train station called “Retiro”. Then you can continue with the instructions from opcion (estacion de trenes de retiro) to arrive at HOSTEL VIVAC.
Estimate time of arrive of the busses: every 30 minutes.
Time of travel: aprox. 45 minutes.
Cost: U$S 5 (August 2008)

Opción 3 Taxi (the fastest way)
Out of the central hall of the airport you can take a taxi to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109).
Cost of the service: U$S 25,00 (August 2008)
Time of travel: 35 minutes aproximate

Precaution: Any other means of transport that anybody could offer to you, could be “NO FRIENDDLY”


b) From Airport “Aeroparque Jorge Newbery”

Opcion 1: Bus 160
Out of the central hall of the airport look for the bus stop of the 160. Ask for a ticket to Castro Barros e Hipólito Irigoyen, from there you have to walk 3 bloks to HOSTELVIVAC.
Time of travel: 40 minutes.
Cost: U$S 0,35 / $ 1 peso argentine (August 2008) You must use coins, the bus don’t accept bills or another way of payment.

Opcion 2: Taxi
Out of the central hall of the airport you can take a taxi to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109)
Cost: U$S 9,00 (August 2008)
Time of travel: 20 minutes

c) From the train station of “Retiro”

Opcion 1: Subway
On the hall of the station, take the subway of the line “C” to the station Avenida de Mayo. Then you have to combine with the line “A” to the Rio de Janeiro station. From there you have to walk 3 blocks by Hipólito Yrigoyen street to HOSTEL VIVAC.
Cost: U$S 0,30 / $ 0,90 pesos argentine (August 2008)
Time of travel: 25 minutes

Opcion 2: Bus 132
Out of the central hall, take the 132 bus to Rivadavia al 4100. From there you have to walk 1 block to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109
Opcion 3: Taxi
Out of the central hall of the train station, take a taxi to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109)
Cost: U$S 7,00 (August 2008)
Time of travel: 20 minutes


d) From the train staton of “Constitución”

Opcion 1: Subway
En el hall de la estación tomar el tren subterráneo de la línea “C” hasta la estación Avenida de Mayo. Hacer allí la combinación con la línea “A” hasta la estación Rio de Janeiro. Desde ese lugar caminar 300 metros por la calle Hipólito Yrigoyen hasta HOSTEL VIVAC. Costo del viaje U$S 0,30 (agosto 2008). Tiempo de Viaje 25 minutos – Esto se repite y me parece q la combinación no es esa!!! (La opcion es exactamente esa pero en un caso estas partiendo de retiro y en otro de constitución)

Opcion 2: Bus 65
Out of the central hall, take the 65 bus to La Plata y Rivadavia. From there you have to walk 3 blocks by Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue to HOSTEL VIVAC.
Cost :U$S 0.35 / $ 1 peso argentine (August 2008)
Time of travel: 35 minutes

Opcion 3: Taxi
Out of the central hall of the train station, take a taxi to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109)
Cost: U$S 7,00 (August 2008)
Time of travel: 20 minutes (estas seguro???) (Sip. Le pregunté a los tacheros que paran en el bar de enfrente)

e) From central station of busses of long distance “Retiro”

Opcion 1: Bus 132
Out of the central hall, take the 132 bus to Rivadavia al 4100. From there you have to walk 1 block to HOSTEL VIVAC (Hipólito Yrigoyen 4109.

f) From others points of the city

Many lines of busses will take you to HOSTEL VIVAC from others points of the city. The cost of the ticket is less of U$S 0.50 (August 2008). You must use coins to have a ticket because the bus don’t accept bills or another way of payment.
