About Us

Melbourne’s newest Flashpackers “Nomads Industry” is OPEN and now offers its guests a FREE NIGHTLY MEAL. The totally refurbished building, which is located at 196-198 A’Beckett St, right in front of the Victoria markets, will show a new dimension to backpackers in Melbourne.

Featuring en-suite deluxe Kings & twins, triples, family rooms, as well as 4-10 dorm share rooms with disability access. Nomads Industry also houses it own “Princess Wing”, which offers exclusive dorms for women, separate bathrooms with huge mirrors, hair dyers and washing facilities.

Its features and services include a 24 hour reception, security swipe cards, TV lounge areas, kitchen & laundry facilities, lockers in all dorm rooms, internet, travel & tour desk as well as job support. It also features a funky and spacious café/bar “Industry” that is cutting edge sleek and offer coffees, pub meals and a stylin bar.

How to Find Us

From the Airport:
Simply catch the Skybus ($15 AUS) direct to Southern Cross Station. ...From Southern Cross St its a 10 minute walk or ask about the free skybus hotel drop off that will bring you to our front door.

Follow the signs to Flagstaff Garden, and turn left up William St (away from La Trobe St) then take the first right onto A'Beckett St. Shouldn't take you longer than a 5 minute walk.

We back onto the Queen Victoria Market, and are 1 street away from the free city circle tourist tram.
