About Us

Our youth hostel is situated near the university right within the Wörthersee, Europapark, Minimundus and Reptilienzoo recreation area in the western part of Carinthias sunny capital.
The hostel was rated fourth best youth hostel in the world.
All our rooms consist of 4 rooms (sleeping room, anteroom, bathroom with shower and toilet). Furthermore, the hostel offers a large hall for events, several seminar rooms and a gallery as well as two small kitchens and a multifunctional dining hall. Benches and a covered barbecue area invite you to spend time outside. Satellite TV, e-mail, internet access and IBN-bookings are available to our guests. There are two wheel chair accessible sleeping rooms on the ground floor.
In addition to a rich buffet breakfast we offer three-course lunches and dinners. Upon request we prepare small or large packed lunches for your trips. We also cater for seminars.

The Klagenfurt area offers a wide range of leisure, sports and cultural activities throughout the year.

By air or train: Take bus to Heiligengeistplatz, then take bus no. 10 or 12 - bus stop Jugendherberge.

By car: A2 motorway - exit at Klagenfurt West, Minimundus, then follow signs.
