About Us

Recover on the mile long sandy strand and relax in the nearly all-year warm sea at „one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil“ (magazine GEO, Spain) in Praia de Jauá. The beach of Jauá is situated north of Salvador da Bahia at the 'Estrada do Coco' surrounded by snow like white dunes. It is very popular. At some parts reefs form natural pools when the tide is out allowing to swim even by high waves. The southern beaches are almost deserted and invite you to an extensive walking.

Our bungalows (suite) contain a bedroom with double bed (king size), fan and TV, a living room with two couchbeds, radio and refrigerator, a bathroom with WC and shower and a veranda complete with a hammock and seats, offering enough room for up to three adults. Four bungalows are specially adapted for people with wheel chairs.

Accommodation price includes a rich breakfast, linen and towels.

How to Find Us

Distances from the hotel:
Beach 350 m; Salvador Airport 17 km (app. 20 min by car), use our shuttle service; Pelourinho - Historic Centre of Salvador 40 km (app. 45 min by car).
There is a regular busservice to the town centre of Salvador and some neighbour villages (not at night). Buses stop in front of the hotel. We offer airport transportation, excursions, taxi service and car rental is available at the reception.

Snorkelling, wave surfing, sea-fishing, beach-walking.
Charged:
Surfbord rental, sea fishing, excursions by boat, kayak, horse riding on the beach (at the moment difficult), fish and pay with grill (in neighbour village).
