About Us

‘Hostal Rio Amazonas-Plaza Italia’, is a beautiful Tudor style stately home. It has constructed in 1925 and was awarded an Architectural National Prize.

‘B&B Plaza Italia’ has three floors shave stain-glass windows, elegant European parquet flooring and molded plaster ceilings. The building is fully restored, with an interior garden and the rooms have private bathrooms with hot water available 24 hours a day, all this facilities in a family and friendly atmosphere.

As the best choice in accommodation of its category, we offer comfortable rooms with TV, En-suite rooms, and hot water 24 hours a day. Continental breakfast is included in the price.

How to Find Us

We meet in the centre of the great events and national celebrations. It is surrounded by parks, many shops and easy transportation. Plaza Baquedano (usually called Plaza Italia) is an important spot to key on: here the Alameda (O'Higgins Avenue) becomes Av. Providencia, and here the Pio Nono Bridge crosses the river to the north, providing access to Bellavista. Overlooking Bellavista is the enormous San Cristobal Hill, which rises dramatically from the plain to the north of Av. Providencia, which leads eastward toward the comunas of Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Lo Barnechea. Av. Vicu?a Mackenna leads southeast toward increasingly fashionable ?u?oa.
