‘Garden Private Accommodation’ is located in the heart of Split’s historic centre, less than 5 minutes walk from the Diocletian’s Palace. Apartments, studios, a cottage and private rooms are all available in the same location.

What is “Garden Private Accommodation”?


We offer a range of private accommodation in Split’s historic central location, less than a 5 minute walk from the Diocletians Palace, downtown! The accommodation is set in a typical Dalmatian style at the foot of Marjan hill, next to Hotel Marjan and Hotel Belevue and only a 10-15 minutes walk from Split’s beaches. We are also 10 minutes walking distance to Split’s ACY marina and 5-10 minutes walking distance to the ferry, bus, and railway terminals!

Zelena Cottage
From 46 euros per day - sleeps 3.
This stone-house cottage is located at the bottom of Marjan hill,
less than a 5 minutes walk from the Diocletian’s Palace.

Directions;
Garden Private Accommodation, Cottages " Urbos 1 " & " Urbos 2 " & " Zelena" , Apartment "Olga" , Studio apartment "Bila" and private room " Crvena" is on the western side of town .
Proceed around the quay with sea on your left hand side. You will reach a wide pedestrian area with palm trees & white paving known as "Riva". Proceed down "Riva", and at the end of "Riva" You will see a church (Sv. Frane). Take the road to the left hand side of the church, "Trumbićeva Obala " street. Proceed a short distance on the right hand pavement on "Trumbićeva Obala " street, until you reach number 10 . You will see a road with a dead end sign. This is the start of "Solurat " street & with restaurant "Fife" on the left hand side & number 10 "Trumbićeva Obala" street on the right hand side . Proceed up the hill until you reach number 22 on the right hand side.

Things to Do around Us

Who made Nikola Brajević king of Split?

Oh, that’s right. We did. A recent stay with his family at their aptly named Garden Accommodation was so beautiful, we promptly appointed ourselves subjects for life.

Located at Solurat 22, 300 meters west of Diocletian’s Palace in Veli Varos and less than 200 meters from the Adriatic sea, the Garden provides an easy respite from central Split.

We spent three nights in the “Zelena” stone cottage, for €46 per night. Our own house included a kitchen, bathroom, and private patio complete with picnic table, chairs and clothing line. Lots of love has been put into the doors, beamed ceilings, and shuttered windows, all of which were stained a rich green to match the common area just off the patio. Shared by all guests, the common area is equipped with a stone BBQ pit, and a lovely picnic table.

A café with a terrace is located less three doors down, offering drinks and a gorgeous seaside view. A grocery store, bakery, laundry mat, Internet station, and juice bar are only a 10-minute walk east.

Finally, the Brajević family treated us like royalty, with friendly smiles and their service-oriented penchant for perfection. Nikolai’s father popped in for a moment to offer us a “dobro dan,” ............
