About Us

ATLAS HOSTEL is centrally located in the downtown area, walking distance to all important monuments (no need for public transport!). It is the most central and conveniently located hostel in Prague just 5 minutes from the Old Town square. Everything is accessible on foot from the hostel including Prague's famous restaurants, bars, shopping centres and more.

We offer dormitory rooms, doubles, triples and rooms for 4 - 6 persons (with shared bathroom and toilet). We also have apartments for 1-6 persons with private bathroom and toilet. Basic cooking facilities and refrigerators are available throughout the hostel (in some parts of hostel there are just kettles, refrigerators and all belongings like plates, cups etc. but not any oven, hot-plates or so!).

Announcement: Some of the rooms are on the 5th floor (without lift!).

Please note that we only accept reservations between 8am and 8pm.
Failure to arrive before 8pm can result in cancellation of your reservation - the only possibility is to write/call us to make an agreement for later check-in but we cannot guarantee that it´ll be possible!

If you want to cancel your booking, please, do it by phone or email but in that case you´d need a confirmation from our office that we ´ve received your cancellation order. Otherwise your cancellation won´t be valid! Cancellation or change of the term must be done during the check-in at the latest!

Please also note that you can pay only with cash on arrival.

**Note: Cancellations have to be made at least 24 hours before arrival!**

BEWARE: on the 24th December the reception is closed (no check-in!!!)

How to Find Us

FROM HOLEŠOVICE RAILWAY STATION AND FROM HLAVNÍ NÁDRAŽÍ (MAIN RAILWAY STATION)

You can reach us if you will take an underground - RED LINE "C" and then get off at the station called MUZEUM. After you leave the station go down the Wenceslas square (Václavské náměstí) and take the second street on your left (at the corner you will see American Express Office). And this is already street Ve Smečkách. Search for number 13.

You can also go by walk from HLAVNÍ NÁDRAŽÍ (around 5 minutes):
# Leave the railway hall
# Go through the small park and then take a left (Opletalova street)
# Go straight to the Wenceslas square, across it
# You will see on the left side American Express office - the beginning of the street Ve Smečkách Search for number 13

You need to buy a ticket of 14 CZK for this travel. This ticket is nontransfer and validation is 20 minutes.

FROM AIRPORT

Take the bus number 119 and get off at Dejvická station and then use the underground from DEJVICKÁ ( GREEN LINE ) and get off at the station called MUZEUM. After you leave the station go down the Wenceslas square (Václavské náměstí) and take the second street on your left (at the corner you will see American Express Office). And this is already street Ve Smečkách. Search for number 13.

You need to buy a ticket of 20 CZK for this travel. This ticket is transfer and validation is 75 minutes.
