About Us

We are happy to let you know that HOSTEL CENTER is open again after last summer reconstruction. We will be glad to welcome you in our hostel which is situated in the CITY CENTER, around the corner from Fred and Ginger Dancing Building, Charles Square, New Town hall and other historical monuments in walking distance. Old Town square is 10 minutes on foot. River side 2 minutes with great view to Prague Castle.

We provide accommodation for individual backpackers, school, groups, couples or families everybody are welcome. No age restriction, No hostel cards needed.

WE CAN OFFER you all kinds of rooms in 5th floor building with lift :
ROOMS with private bathroom - single, twin, triple
4 bedded room with private bathroom - is made of two twin rooms which share one bathroom.
5 bedded room with private bathroom - is made of one twin and one triple room which share one bathroom.

ROOMS with share bathroom ( bathroom common only for two rooms )
single, twin, triple, 4 bedded

DORMITORY - NO BUNK beds, lockers inside the room :
6 bedded dorm with private bathroom - is made of two triple rooms which share bathroom
4 or 5 bedded dorm - bathroom shared with just one more room.

SINGLE rooms available.

IN THE ROOM you can find :
separated single beds ready with all the bed clothes, no bunk beds. Towel you can borrow at the reception for free.
Reading-lamp, bed table next to each bed, wardrobe, table and chair. In dorm rooms lockers inside the room.

RECEPTION is open this year from 30th June untill 24th August - 24hours a day:
No curfew / No lock out. Come anytime you need.

Our Friendly and helpful receptionists will help you with all kind of questions, orientation in Prague or with places you will wish to visit. (Public transport, historical buildings, museums - entrance fee...Discount Prague) Train and bus information.
and maybe learn you a little bit of Czech :) if you will want.

BREAKFAST is for FREE - served from 8 A.M. - 11 A.M. (continental breakfast)

In the hostel Center building you can find :
phone automat (phone cards you can buy at the reception)
luggage room - for free
internet - 2 computers - for free
WIFI signal in the lobby

After your arrival you will get FREE CITY MAPS.

PARKING is available on the street in the front of the hostel - need to be reserved in advance. Cost 200 CZK per day.
Or across the street from hostel are underground garage.

How to Find Us

from the Airport Ruzyne:
We recommend this company AAA taxi - from Prague just dial 222 333 222 they speak English, you can order taxi by phone.

They ll come in 10-15 minutes to pick you up. Price with this company is about 600,- czk.

There is also shuttle service company - CEDAZ - you can go with them, they have little bit lower prices then taxi because you share a minibus with other people.

Or if you take a cab in front of arrival hall on the street, before you get in the car ask for the price, because some companies or independent taxis are very expensive.

About your return way to the airport ask at the reception desk. We can order a taxi cab for you by phone. They usually come in 10 - 15 minutes.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From airport Ruzyne
- go by bus n.100 to the end station Zlicin,
then take metro (yellow line B) to the station
'KARLOVO NAMESTI' - get off the metro and walk down the street RESSLOVA - turn second street left - and walk few steps and on your right side find no.15 DITTRICHOVA Street - 'Domov Mladeze' is written on the building.

From the train station - HLAVNI NADRAZI:
- go by metro to the station FLORENC(red line C) - change the line to the yellow line B and go to station 'KARLOVO NAMESTI' - get off the metro and walk down the street RESSLOVA - turn second street left - and walk few steps and on your right side find no.15 DITTRICHOVA Street - 'Domov Mladeze' is written on the building.

Things to Do around Us

Dancing House or also “Ginger and Fred' - It’s named this way because of the towers reminding of the famous dancers Ginger Rogers and Fred Astair. The author is Frank O. Gehry.

Karlovo namesti - Charles Square - metro station /line B/

The National Memorial to the Heroes of the Heydrich Terror - A Place of Reconciliation. The Orthodox Cathedral of Ss. Cyril and Methodus

New Town Hall - A gothic complex of buildings from the late 14th and early 15th centuries, rebuilt in the renaissance style in the 16th century.

Emauzy - The monastery Na Slovanech with a church founded by Charles IV in 1347.
