About Us

Lialy Hostel is a Western style hostel located in the heart of downtown Cairo. We offer clean and comfortable rooms for the budget traveller.

Enjoy the convenience of being minutes away from the Egyptian Museum, and within walking distance to the Metro and bus stations.

Choose from dormitory and private rooms. For our double and triple room we now offer upgrades to air conditioned rooms. Please inquire by email after you have made your booking. There is a shared kitchen and lounge room with satellite TV. Our balconies overlook the famous Talaat Harb Square, a great viewing point on the nightlife of Cairo!

We are located right in Talaat Harb Square (Midan Talaat Harb) across from the Air France office, and beside Groppi's bakery.

You can reach Lialy Hostel several ways...

To Reach Us By the Metro:
Get off at Sadat Station, and walk up Talaat Harb Street.

To Reach Us From the Airport:
We do offer airport pickups, please email for inquiries. You can also take a taxi, or catch the CTA bus to downtown and get off beside the Egyptian Museum.
To Reach Us by Bus:
Get off at Abdelmin el Riad bus station and walk up Mahmoud Bassiouny Street. Or get off at Tahrir Square (Midan Tahrir) and walk up Talaat Harb Street.

To Reach Us By Train:
Get off at Ramses Train Station and take a 5 minute taxi ride to Talaat Harb Sq (Midan Talaat Harb).

Please Note for ALL Reservations:
For all reservations, we require a final confirmation at least 12 hours in advance of your arrival via email or telephone, otherwise your reservation may be cancelled.

After receiving your final confirmation, we will hold the room for up to 5 hours after your expected arrival time. Call us if you expect to be delayed.
