About Us

Sheikh Salem House is a unique Guest House in Dahab, Sinai with views of the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia and the Sinai Mountains. It really is the House of a Bedouin Sheikh who wants you to come and make yourself at home.

We offer a relaxed setting ideal for chilling out, just 10 minutes walk from Dahab town centre we are set at the end of the beach walkway on a sandy beach in Assalah.

We offer clean and spacious budget rooms with shared bathroom, luxury suites with ensuite bathrooms or apartments for groups of friends to share. We also offer free wireless DSL on our beach for our guests.

We strive to offer something different and new in Dahab, not only do we offer the usual diving, snorkelling, desert safaris and yoga we also hold one off events and holidays like Belly Dancing holidays, Reiki courses and Bedouin Cultural activities.
We also do our part to promote and support sustainable tourism practises.

So for a relaxing place to stay after a night out on the town stay in the house of the Sheikh ; )

How to Find Us

We are based on El Malil Street in Assalah, Dahab. We are one minute walk north from the Eel Garden Dive Site at the very end of the beach walkway.

Dahab is accessible by bus from Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Nuweiba, Taba or St Catherines. We can also arrange taxi transfers from anywhere in Sinai. We are one hour from Sharm El Sheikh Airport and two hours from Taba.

From Jordan you can arrive in Sinai by Ferry to Nuweiba and from Israel you can arrive via Taba.
