About Us

Backpacker's Chez Patrick has been and continues to be the favourite hostel for budget travellers.

We are ideally located in the centre of Nice, close to some of the major shopping centres in downtown.

We are only 5 minutes walk from the central railway station SNCF and the city-airport bus stop and 10-15 minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais and public beaches.

How to Find Us

If you are flying in to Nice airport, take the regular bus number 23 (ticket 1,30 €) or the express Navette 99 bus (ticket 4 €) which leaves the airport every 30 minutes. Both the buses will bring you to SNCF railway station. There are no bus services from the airport to SNCF railway station after 9 p.m. so you have to take a taxi (approximately 30 €).

In order to get to our hotel from the SNCF railway station, when you come out of the main gates please turn left, walk up to Jean-Medecin Avenue and then turn right and continue walking on the left side of the avenue up to the second street crossing which is the Rue Pertinax. On the corner of Rue Pertinax you will find a pharmacy, to the opposite of which are the McDonald’s and Multary cafe. Turn left into Rue Pertinax and the first apartment building is Backpacker’s Chez Patrick hostel. The door number 32, press the button “Backpacker’s Chez Patrick” to open the door and go up one flight of stairs to the first floor.
