About Us
8 Gambian styled round huts sleeping 2 people. The lodge is located on the beach in the protected area of the Niumi National Park where you can enjoy the sea views while eating your lunch or dinner from the fully stocked bar and restaurant, serving food made from local, organically grown produce. The lodge is staffed entirely by local villagers. To maintain the islands unspoilt nature we do have a policy of having a maximum of 10 guests at any one time.
How to Find Us
Jinack Island is just off the north bank of the Gambia River and can be reached by a ferry crossing from Banjul to Barra. From Barra a taxi can take you to Niumi National Park. However, we do provide airport transfers directly to the accommodation.
Things to Do around Us
Fishing trips on the beach or in our fishing boat where you might catch Captainfish, Groupers, Jack Crevalle, Large Guitarfish, Stingrays, Cassava, among many other species of fish.
