About Us

We have won a ton of awards from Hostelworld readers over the years, including Top 10 Large Hostel Wordwide 2010, 2007 and 2006, Best hostel in Germany 2009 and 2008, and Cleanest Hostel Worldwide in 2005! We are also highly recommended by Lonely Planet.

We have spacious bathrooms on every floor, a large kitchen and a cosy lounge in the garden-house. We have tons of free stuff for our guests - breakfast vouchers for neighbourhood cafes, linen, walking tours, maps, Wi-Fi, luggage storage, lockers, hairdryers, phone chargers, padlocks, and hot showers 24 hours a day!

We also offer an all-you-can-eat continental breakfast with coffee or tea for only 2Euro and a delicious tip-based diner every Monday and Wednesday. Our laundry service is cheap and if you are online you can use our printer, DVD burner and Skype stuff. Want to rent a bicycle? Do it here!

Berlin can get kinda cold in the winter but fear not, we have central heating so its always cosy here. Our beautiful garden has a BBQ area as well and if you got an early plane to catch we have got alarm clocks!

Our English-speaking staff will happily provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go. Walking tours leave from the EastSeven Hostel twice a day. This is not a party hostel but we have a lovely relaxed atmosphere where you can chat to the staff or make new friends.

How to Find Us

From the Main station or 'Ostbahnhof':
Take the S-Bahn overground train to the city centre station “Alexanderplatz” and take the U2 underground towards 'Pankow' and get off at the 2nd stop „Senefelder Platz“.

From all airports:
Take the bus or tram to the city centre station “Alexanderplatz” and take the U2 underground towards 'Pankow' and get off at the 2nd stop „Senefelder Platz“. Walk down the Schwedter Straße - The EastSeven will show up after 80m on your right.

All airports, Long Distance Railway Stations and the Central Bus Station are within 20 minutes by public transport.

You can reach major touristic attractions like Brandenburg Gate, FriedrichstraĂźe, Reichstag etc. by within 10 Minutes.

We are situated in the heart of Central Berlin - surrounded by cafés, restaurants, theatres, nightlife and of course lots of shops (Kastanienallee, Kollwitz Platz etc.). The Main cultural attractions (Museum Island, Alexander Platz/TV Tower, etc.) are within walking distance.
