How to Find Us

Public Transport
From the central station “Hauptbahnhof” take any S-Bahn line just one station to the Hackerbrücke station and leave the station in-driving directions. Take a left into Grasser Street- this street will lead you direktly to the Landsberger Street. Take a right into Landsberger Street and after 2min you should reach the hostels on the right lane side.

FROM THE AIRPORT
From Franz-Josef Strauss Airport - Munich take the underground line S1 (direction Ostbahnhof) or S8 (direction Nannhofen). Exit at the Hackerbrücke station and leave the station in-driving directions. Take a left into Grasser Street- this street will lead you direktly to the Landsberger Street. Take a right into Landsberger Street and after 2min you should reach the hostels on the right lane side.

By Car
Autobahn A95 from Starnberg/ Garmisch-Patenkirchen
Go north on A95 towards München (Munich). You will pass the As München-Kreuzhof and continue on the A95 heading towards Sendlinger Westpark. Turn onto B2r/E 584 Luise-Kiesselbach-Platz at the junction Sendling-Süd. While following this road you will pass As München Sendling, but stay on the B2R (Garmischer Straße). Continue heading towards Schwabing West/ München Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station). Take a left onto Trappentreustraße at the intersection Garmischer Straße/ Ridlerstraße. After crossing over the bridge Donnersberger Brücke take the next right to get to Landsberger Straße 20! You've reached your destination, MEININGER City Hostel & Hotels Landsberger Strasse in Munich.

Autobahn A8 from Stuttgart
Take the A8 until you reach the junction München West. Continue straight on the A8/E52, following the signs to U44. You are now on Verdistaße, and at the intersection Verdistr. / Pippingerstraße take a right onto Pippinger Straße. Follow that street to the intersection of Lortzingstraße/ Haberlandstraße. Here, you should turn left onto Haberlandstraße and continue straight until Kaflerstraße. Then you follow Kaflerstraße to Pasinger Bahnhofsplatz and continue following it to Bäckerstraße. After 200 m, turn left onto Landsberger Straße. Now, all you have to do is drive straight and find MEININGER City Hostel & Hotel on Landsberger Strasse in Munich, directly across from the Augustiner Brewery.

From Nürnberg (Nuremberg)
Take the A9 toward München (Munich). After entering Munich's city limits, take the München Schwabing exit off of the A9. Drive in the direction of Lindau, München Schwabing, Mittlerer Ring West. Follow the B2r, passing the following streets: Schenkendorf Straße, Petueltunnel, Petuelring, Georg-Brauchle Ring continuing past the Olympiapark and take the next left onto Landshuter Allee at the intersection B304/B2r. Stay on Landshuter Allee until you reach the bridge Donnersbergerbrücke. Cross the bridge and take a left at the first intersection onto Landsberger Straße.

From Innsbruck (Austria)
Follow the instructions found in the directions from Salzburg to our Hotel on Landsberger Strasse in Munich. As soon as you are on the A8, you can follow the same directions as below. We look forward to your visit in our hostel at Landsberger Straße 20!

Directions from Ruhrgebiet/ Frankfurt am Main, etc.
Take the A4 for about 110 km toward München (Munich). Exit the A4 and get on the A3 towards Nürnberg, München, Würzburg at the Seligenstädter Dreieck. After 200 km on this Autobahn, take the A9 towards München at the junction Ak Kreuz Nürnberg. Stay on the A9 for 157 km and take the exit München Schwabing.

From Salzburg (Austria)
Take the A1 (please note that this Autobahn requires a toll in Austria). When you leave Austria, you will automatically be on the A8 towards Innsbruck/ München. Stay on the A8 for approximately 120 km. Leave the Autobahn at the junction München Süd and get onto the A995 towards Lindau/Garmisch-Patenkirchen until the exit München Giesing. You are now on Tegernseer Landstraße (B13), which later turns into Martin Luther Straße, Giesinger Berg, Humboldtstraße, Wittelsbacherbrücke and finally into Kapuziner Straße. Follow the signs for Theresienwiese or Bavariaring. After passing the ring you will be on Martin-Greif-Straße. Turn left onto Bayerstraße, which will turn into Landsberger Straße. You are not, however, on the correct side of Landsberger Straße and will need to drive "around the block" and cannot miss our hotel at Landsberger Straße 20 across from the Augustiner Brewery!
