About Us

After 5 years of backpacking around the world and staying in 100‘s of hostels, we decided to open up the very first hostel in Budapest. That would fulfill all the needs of budget travelers. We wanted to make a place that we would like to stay in ourselves, while on the road. We know exactly what it feels like to be far away from home in a strange country and we also know it’s very important to have a secure, friendly home base to enjoy an unknown city. After 8 years in operation we haven’t hung our backpacks up either and we still take every chance we can to get on the road again! Our relaxing surroundings with our back garden, gazebo and friendly people make a wonderful escape from the noise and bustle of any capital city!

How to Find Us

TRAIN STATION

KELETI PU.: take bus no.7 or 73.Direction: BORNEMISSZA TÉR (bus stop is at the middle of the square). Get off at TÉTÉNYI ÚT (5th stop after the river).Walk back underneath the rail bridge, turn left and it is the 3rd street on your right.

NYUGATI PU.: take underground in the direction of KŐBÁNYA. Get off at FERENCIEK TERE. Take bus
no.7 or 73 as above.

DÉLI PU.: take tram no.18 or 61. Get off at
MÓRICZ ZSIGMOND KÖRTÉR. Take bus no. 7 or 73, two stops . Get off at TÉTÉNYI ÚT as above.

BUS STATION

NÉPLIGET:
take metro no.3, (direction ÚJPEST-KÖZPONT) to KÁLVIN TÉR (4 stops) and then take tram no. 49. (direction ETELE TÉR) and get off at the 5th. stop after the river. Walk under the railway bridge, turn left and we are in the 3rd. street on the right (TAKÁCS MENYHÉRT UTCA).

AIRPORT

EASIEST:
take airport minibus (shuttle) door to door 2300 HUF (~9 EURO/person)

CHEAPEST:
Take the publik "airport" bus all the way to the last stop. Change to underground, get off at DEÁK TÉR. Then take tram no. 49 as above.
