About Us

A hostel and a bar!
Located in the middle of the old city, we're a three minutes walk from Europe's largest medieval town square, close to the main train station and right next to Kazimierz - the Jewish District.

We’re the only hostel with an entertainment and media den that’s built a reputation as a social hub and made us famous. We call it the Ju Ju Lounge. We offer broadband internet terminals, Wi-Fi, spankin’ fast computers, DVD movies and X-Box games projected onto our 3-meter screen.
We organize transport, sightseeing tours for groups and Stag Weekends (please see bottom of this page).

Our multilingual staff is world-renowned for their friendliness and helpfulness, and they are always (literally, 24 hours a day) ready to help you plan your time and make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. They can guide you to some of Krakow's secrets - spots that most tourists don't know about and they can also offer practical advice regarding restaurants and pubs, transportation, train and bus schedules, etc. ..

Stag Groups:

There was a time where a Stag Weekend meant just a drink session. Nowadays it becomes the evenings of a legend, so they should be well thought out, appropriate for your group and should have a whole lot of fun . The easiest place to start is right here. Let us take care of your last moments of freedom and without you having the hassle of organizing everything. How to Find Us

From the train station:

-If you go through the Galeria and come out the other side, you will find the Dworzec Glowny Zachod (Galeria) tram stop.
- If you instead go to the left coming off the trains and head through the plaza to the tram stop on Lubicz street (Dworzec Glowny tram stop).
- You want to take the Tram #34 towards Kurdwanow Petla. If you got on at the Galeria stop, you will ride for 3 stops, otherwise you will ride only 2 stops.
- Buy a ticket from the driver for 3zl or buy a ticket beforehand for 2,50 (don't forget to punch your ticket!)
- Get off at the Starowislna stop.
- Walk back across the tracks to the corner with the Kiosk
- Turn right and walk across the street - past the Tram stop in the middle - all the way across.
- As you approach the end of the street, you will see the Stranger Hostel banner in the middle of the block.

From the Airport:

- Take train 'SZYNOBUS' approximately 16 minutes to Krakow Main Train Station 'Krakow Glowny'. Once you arrive at the Main Train Sation, follow the directions above.

* Taxi from the airport approximately: 50 zl (12 Euro)

* Taxi from the train station approximately: 12 zl (4 Euro)

• Groups of 3 or more will be reimbursed for taxi fare from the train station. (Ask for a receipt - paragon - from the driver.)
