HOSTEL DETAIL

About Us

At the Oasis, our aim is to provide you with a place that you can call home. We provide an environment where you can relax and take some time away from the hardships of travelling.

Set in a recently and stylishly restored traditional Andalucian building, Oasis is fully equipped with modern conveniences.

How to Find Us

The hostel is located in the exact center of the city, so is possible to walk everywhere within 15 to 20 minutes, the only thing that you do need is a map as the streets get really messy, your main reference point is Plaza Encarnacion where we are at no. 29 1/2, just next to the church. Welcome!

From the Bus Station San Sebastian:
Take Bus No. 25, 26 or 33 to the Plaza Nueva stop. (It is a huge Plaza with a monument of a horse in the centre - you can't miss it.) When you get off the bus, cross the plaza diagonally and take the street (Calle Granada) on the left side of the big goverrnment building. Shortly you find a Tourism Office on your left. Stop and collect information if you wish. Then take the street behind the Tourist Office (Calle Sierpes) to your left. On that street, take your first right (Calle Sagasta) and arrive at Plaza del Salvador. Now follow the street Cuńa to the left until you get to a big street called Latańa. Turn to the right here and walk up until Plaza Encarnación which at the moment is covered in building work. Here at the corner of "Cafe de Indias" take a right and walk past the church. We are right next to it at no. 29 1/2. Welcome!.

From Bus Station Plaza Armas:
Exit the station and to the left you will see a taxi rank and in front of it a Bus Stop. Take bus No. B2 to Plaza Encarnacion. Once you got of there, we are only 10 meters away at no. 29 1/2, just next to the church. Welcome! The bus route is very indirect and takes a long time, so if you prefer, take a taxi from the stand to Plaza Encarnacion for about 7 Euros. Or if your bag isn't too heavy, it is a direct 15 minute walk: Just exit the station and cross at the traffic lights. At the other side of the road turn left and walk until you get to a big open plaza. Cross the plaza and take the street on the left of the NH hotel building, named Alfonso XII. Follow this street straight for about 10 minutes and you can't go wrong. You will arrive to Plaza Encarnacion, go to the right and just next to the church at no. 29 1/2 that is where we are located. Welcome!

From the Train Station Santa Justa:
In the train station, take the esculator up to the center of the station. Exit throught the doors marked B or C. Walk along the front of the station past the taxis, to the bus stops. There take Bus No. 32 to Plaza Encarnacion. Now we are only 10 meters away at no. 29 1/2, just next to the church. Welcome!

From the Airport:
There is just one bus that takes you into the city. Get off at the train station stop and walk back 30 meters in the direction from which you came to the stop of bus No.32. Then follow the directions above 'from Santa Justa train station'. A taxi to Plaza Encarnation will cost 20 euros, plus an extra charge for luggage.
