About Us

The resort consists of nine quality bungalows, located absolute beachfront in a quiet section of the Noppharat Thara National Park, near Krabi in Thailand's south. West Noppharat Thara Beach is still a relatively isolated location with limited road access and most customers arriving by boat from the nearby tourist town of Aonang. From the resort you look out over Noppharat Thara Bay and numerous islands and limestone outcrops for which the area is famous. The resort has an extremely laid back feel in keeping with the location and provides basic yet comfortable bungalows, each with it's own ensuite bathroom and balcony and a choice of air conditioning or fan. The resort also has a sheltered outdoor dining area and a bar. Due to our remote location, we are on generator power and only able to provide electricity to the rooms between the hours of 6.00 pm and 6.00 am. Hot water is also unavailable.

How to Find Us

Krabi is located about 900 km south of Bangkok and 190 km east of Phuket. From Bangkok there are many daily flights to Krabi International Airport. Buses and trains can also be taken.

Once in Krabi,there are two ways to arrive. Please refer to the map for assistance.

(1) By boat: get a minibus or taxi to Noppharatara National Park (near Aonang). Go to the pier and ask the Long Tail Boat driver to take you to the Private Beach Resort on the other side of the channel. At high tide they can bring you to the front of the resort. At low tide it's about a 300 meter walk along the beach. If you call ahead, the resort boat can pick you up for FREE.

(2) By car: the resort is about a 25 minute drive from Krabi.

Should you require assistance getting here please do not hesitate to call. The resort taxi is available for pick up from the airport 600 baht, and Krabi town 500 baht.

Things to Do around Us

The resort is located right on the beach and as such provides an excellent base from which to explore the bay. Take a day tour on our long tail boat and take in some of the islands, including beautiful Poda island or Hong Island. Snorkelling and scuba diving are popular activities and there are a number of dive schools located in the area. On land you can rock climb limestone cliffs at nearby Railay beach, go elephant trekking, see a snake show or check out giant catfish. Nearby Aonang offers western food and nightlife should you require it.
